Video Game Console Design
ENGR190U: Video Game Console Design is a course where students learn principles of human-computer action as informed by the interfaces developed for video game consoles. To that end, students will complete a series of labs building their own game controller, interfacing with a video game, and using image-processing with CUDA on the embedded Jetson TK1 development platform from NVIDIA.
Projects
After completing a series of labs in the course, each student completed an individual project using a Jetson TK1 and/or an Arduino Micro. This is the list of their projects:
- Fighter Control Stick (Bryan Matsumoto)
- CUDA Bullet Hell (Henry Huang)
- Chip DJ (Andy Russell)
- Self-tracking Cannon (Tyler Smallwood)
- Wii U Gamepad (Sebastian Krupa)
- HOG + SVM (Andrew Fishberg)
- League of Legends gamepad controls (Patrick Lu)
